Key Accounts Customer Service Rep – Walterboro, SC

FLORALIFE, a division of Smithers-Oasis,has an immediate opening for a Key Accounts Customer Service Representative at our facility in Walterboro, South Carolina! FLORALIFE is a world leader in the post-harvest care and handling of flowers and provides product and technical services to customers on a global basis.

  • HOURS: The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.
  • Starting Pay: $21.00 – $24.00 per hour based on relevant experience.

The Key Accounts Customer Service Representative will provide customer service to key accounts, grocery accounts, dotcom accounts and online accounts. This position is responsible for efficient and effective front-end operations as required our customers’ order demands.

Some specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Coordinates entry and accuracy for sales orders from Grocery, Online, and .com accounts
  • Processes all Sam’s and Sams.com orders accurately and efficiently
  • Ensures entry into our E1 ERP system is accurate for price, SKU, delivery date
  • Online management of orders, shipping confirmations, invoicing processes
  • Online management of SKU entry, updates, pricing and offers
  • Online management of SDS, vendor agreements with customer sites
  • Works with EDI installation team, managing status and updates to confirm installs are completed in a timely manner
  • Determines, along with management, the availability, ship date and method of shipping that can be promised.
  • Coordinates with account management team on priorities, delivery dates and inventory availability.
  • Notifies entering entity of promise date by delivering order confirmations to consignee
  • Understand and prepare documents required to deliver containers to domestic and international customers. Proforma Invoice, Packing Lists, COOs, COAs
  • Prepares Debits and Credits as required by order demand
  • Documents on-time delivery on all orders.
  • Receives and Processes orders and maintains inventory for webshop / Amazon.com order site
  • Answers customer’s phone calls for order and product questions in an effective, efficient and positive manner through problem solving skills; must have the ability to take ownership and to know when to escalate an issue to the department Manager.
  • Assist with Supply Chain Projects – S&OP, Forecasting, as required

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
  • Prior customer service and production scheduling experience preferred
  • Excellent computer skills for PC (Excel, Word, email, etc.)
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written), customer service and organization skills
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks with tight deadlines
  • Self-starter – ability to work in a fast-paced multi-task environment
  • Applies skills to make team contributions
