Description
The Andover Recreation Division is proud to offer our extended-day program for children in Grades K-5 at Bancroft Elementary School, West Elementary School, South Elementary School, High Plain Elementary School and Sanborn Elementary School. Andover Kid Care is a great solution for busy working families that combines fun and learning with the safety and convenience of a high-quality afterschool program right inside the child’s school.
Kid Care follows the Andover Public School schedule. The program begins on the first day of school and ends on the last day of school. Programs will run on early dismissal days with the exception of when school closes at mid-day for a school vacation period or school snow/emergency cancellation or unscheduled early release days.
The Kid Care Program runs Monday-Friday, 3:30-6:00 PM . We invite you to consider working as few as 2 or all 5 days with us!
Responsibilities
Responsible for assisting Group Leaders with facilitation of age appropriate curriculum and activities. Must help maintain the physical environment so that it is conducive to optimal learning opportunities for children. Assume responsibility for classroom materials and equipment, ensuring they are clean, safe, and stored properly. Maintain a cooperative working relationship with parents and coworkers. Participate in team meetings to discuss needs of individual students, curriculum planning, and other classroom issues, as needed. Complete all EEC required trainings and assist in other responsibilities as needed. Reports to After-School Site Director(s)
Qualifications
Must be 16 years of age or older.

The Kid Care program has been organized to provide afterschool supervision for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. Kid Care is a School Age Child Care Program licensed by the State of Massachusetts.
