JOB SUMMARY:
Kids Club Attendant is responsible for providing members and their children with a friendly, safe, and welcoming environment for children to play and parents to feel comfortable while working out in the facility. Organize and implement fun and entertaining activities and games for children.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Greet and welcome parents and children in a warm and friendly manner.
• Initiate, develop and maintain personalized relationships with members and their children
• Engage children in interactive activities that include storytelling, organized arts & crafts, singling and games.
• Resolve child conflicts in a swift and professional manner.
• Monitor and interact with children to maintain a safe and healthy environment with respect to the toys, other children and surroundings.
• Quickly and efficiently respond to member questions, comments and concerns.
• Clean and maintain the Kids Club by following the cleaning checklist and performing assigned tasks.
• Completes all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be highly motivated and energetic
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task & learn quickly
• Comfortable with working with children in the age group of six month to thirteen years old
• Must be a team player, willing to cover or trade shifts when necessary
• Must be able to work days, evenings or weekends as necessary
• Must have six months to one year working experience with children
• Infant/Child & Adult CPR, First Aid and AED certifications (must be obtained within 60 days of hire date)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to perform all the essential functions of the position.
- Must be able to properly lift up to 20 lbs.
- Must be able to meet the attendance requirements of the position.
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health and or safety of others.
