Role Summary:

Promote an environment of excellence and create Raving Fans of Don Juan Mex Grill by going above and beyond customer expectations and creating positive emotional connections to the Don Juan Mex Grill restaurant and branding.

Position Type and Pay Range:
• Part-Time or Full-Time, minimum of 4 days per week, must be available to work most weekends- day or evening, shifts between 9:30 am-8:30pm
• $14-$17 per hour, depending on availability and experience

Requirements:
• Available to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
• Must be at least 18 or older to apply.
• Understand the expectation of Don Juan Mex Grill customer service standards and operational excellence.
• Able to lift to 40 occasionally and stand for up to 8 hours.

General Responsibilities: (Must meet availability requirements)

• Deliver portions that are correct and meet presentation expectations.
• Execute FIFO (First In, First Out) model for food inventory to assure freshness and quality.
• Protect the customer experience by ensuring packaging, food presentation and quality are top level.
• Constantly improve yourself by finding ways to do your work better and faster.
• Proactively look for opportunities to be cross-trained.
• Ensure appearance complies with the Team Member Handbook.
• Be a team player.
• Display good stewardship and a sense of ownership for the business.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Don Juan Mex Grill standards.
• Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations.
• Prepare hot and cold individual and catering menu items.
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed.
• Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times.
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to the Kitchen Leader.
• Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and stay up-to-date on any changes.
• Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned.
