Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking to identify highly motivated and qualified individuals for various future opportunities.
Our team supports technical solutions associated with the collection, processing, and exploitation of assured, relevant, and timely oceanographic, meteorological, hydrographic, precise time and astrometric information for the Commander, Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command (CNMOC). Candidates who join our team play an integral role in the design, development, and innovative modernization of the IT infrastructure used to provide meteorology and oceanography support to warfighters afloat and ashore. We will maintain, upgrade, and modernize the IT infrastructure to include engineering, software development, administration, and data management.

- Must be a US Citizen and hold a DoD Secret clearance, Top Secret clearance preferred
- Candidates must be within a commutable distance from either Stennis MS
This work includes but is not limited to:
- Leads the design of knowledge management systems to include formulates and defines system scope and objectives.
- Assists clients in defining knowledge content, organization, and key words.
- Prepares detailed specifications for knowledge management programs to include process definition for knowledge capture and management.
- Has full technical knowledge and responsibility for all phases of knowledge management applications and analyses.
- Manages the design of knowledge management user interface features, site animation, and special knowledge management features including enhancing the look and feel of the organization’s on-line knowledge management screens.
- Works with organization web designers, data managers and programmers to support and implement the organization’s knowledge management program.
- Requires an understanding of knowledge management principles, procedures and processes. Duties also include instructing, directing and checking the work of knowledge management specialists.
- Responsible for directing and monitoring the work of the organization’s knowledge management team.
Qualifications
- BS 8-10, MS 6-8, PhD 3-5
- Hold active/current DoD Secret clearance, Top Secret clearance preferred
- Managing geographically dispersed workforce
- Worked in agile development and production environment
Desired Experiences:
- DoD Portfolio Management experience
- DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) experience

Target Salary Range
$51,000 – $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
