Insight Global is looking seeking a Laboratory Assistant to conduct general research on new battery materials, specifically new lithium-ion battery anodes. The candidate will develop, adopt or modify laboratory procedures and protocols for scale up of advanced materials manufacturing. With minimal assistance, the candidate will develop experimental designs, run technical experiments, make detailed observations, analyze data, record and interpret results, and effectively report information written and orally.

Required Skills & Experience
* Associates, BS, MS Phd in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field
* Engineering degree is highly preferred.
* experience with electrochemical analysis, testing and manufacturing of graphite in lithium-ion battery anodes
