The Lab Technician will be responsible for performing verification testing on control panels, wiring, electrical enclosures, and solar components. You will also perform certification testing in accordance with applicable standards (UL, NEC, etc.) Assemble enclosures and components such as enclosures for testing, connectors, and fuses. You will collaborate with the engineering team to ensure all tests and configurations are assembled correctly.
You will also oversee the movement of materials.
Required Skills & Experience
1+ year of laboratory/electricity experience
This can include International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), Underwriter Laboratories (UL), Photovoltaics (PV), Alternating or Direct current (AC or DC), or electrical helper experience.
Knowledge of combiner boxers, electrical platforms, and fuses, wiring, and other electrical components.
Experience using a data management system and online storage platforms. (Uses Datalogger Pro onsite)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Welding, braze, and solder experience.
2+ years of college experience in mechanical or electrical field (trade school)
