The Bank of New York Mellon seeks a Lead Analyst, Data Management & Quantitative Analysis in New York, NY, to Work with internal and external datasets and client reference data and provide analysis in the development of statistical, financial and/or econometric models for analyzing asset performance, securities data, derivative pricing, risk exposure or other sophisticated concepts. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Quantitative Finance, or a related field, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Three (3) years of experience must include: Developing and enhancing risk models for derivatives including Equity and FX Options, Interest Rate Swaptions, and other financial products using time series techniques including smoothing splines, co-integration, and error correction; Leveraging knowledge of Monte Carlo Simulation and Partial Differential Equation techniques to develop and maintain derivative pricing models, XVA models, and credit risk models in asset classes including rates, credit, foreign exchange, equities, and commodities; Implementing and maintaining object-oriented programming style production codes of applications and library architecture to process and analyze financial market data in a high-performance computing environment with Git control; Utilizing quantitative techniques including regressions and PCA to perform model tests and data analysis using tools including Excel VBA, SQL, Python, and R to generate reports; Producing and enhancing a detailed and clear documentation of data, methodologies, and analysis in LaTeX for regulators and relevant stakeholders; and Designing, implementing, and maintaining automation processes for quarterly model performance monitoring tests and business as usual operations. BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $54,000 and $116,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and company- sponsored benefit programs.
