Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Lead Analyst – Solutions Development.

NYU Langone Health seeks a seasoned Lead Huron Research Suite Analyst skilled in requirements elucidation, with extensive experience in workflow, business process, and user-centered design.
The research community at NYU Langone Health uses Research Navigator (Huron Research Suite) to manage grants, agreements, clinical trials, compliance reviews and conflict of interest management lifecycles including submission, committee reviews, approvals and workflows. The system integrates with several enterprise systems such as PeopleSoft, Epic, On Base, Data Warehouse, etc. Other applications such as iLab, Wellspring Sophia and Labvantage as also used for conducting research at NYU Langone Health.

Job Responsibilities:

    • Maintain system documentation, integration maps, data dictionaries, workflow and data lineage diagrams and project artifacts. Document and track issues, action items, user requirements, and deliverables using tools such as Box, Collibra, Confluence and JIRA.
    • Lead and perform requirements analysis and verification, ensuring that user stories and specifications are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable. Analyze complex requests to provide actionable recommendations and key findings.
    • Collect, analyze, and translate requirements into user stories, workflows, business process logic, process maps, wireframes, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
    • Negotiate priorities, sprint content and longer-term plans collaboratively with the stakeholders, and technical team, to ensure successful completion of projects and regular maintenance releases.
    • Coordinate Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities of a project in coordination with the QA team, business stakeholders and users.
    • Review vendor product release notes and analyze system impacts to business processes, integrations, configurations and customizations.
    • Collaborate with the technical team to elucidate and define system requirements.
    • Manage mid-sprint bugs and issues to assess if in scope for the project or release.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a BA/BS degree or equivalent.
Five or more years of experience in business systems analysis and/or implement technology products
Experience in working in academic, life sciences and/or research organization
Experience with Research Administration systems such as Huron Research Suite, InfoEd, Kuali Research, Cayuse or similar
Knowledge of Grants, IACUC, Conflict of Interest Management and Safety systems
Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and customer service skills and ability to establish good working relationships with a wide range of people within an academic community.
Project and time management skills with abilities of effectively managing competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or similar.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $110,479.19 – $167,589.90 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
