Job Title: Product Owner
Responsibilities:
As a Product Owner, you will play a vital role in defining and delivering the product roadmap in an agile and data-driven environment. You’ll focus on driving superior business outcomes for customers and creating innovative solutions that meet their needs while achieving business objectives. Your responsibilities include:
- Leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with CX/UX designers, developers, and business teams to guide products from ideation to completion.
- Facilitating ideation workshops to gather ideas for process improvement.
- Building trust and partnerships while representing the Office of AI.
- Developing business case templates and supporting annual planning and priority setting.
- Defining and prioritizing product features based on customer needs, market analysis, and business goals.
- Translating business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and product specifications.
- Collaborating with UX teams to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for product validation.
- Participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews to ensure efficient product development and delivery.
- Working with QA teams to define acceptance criteria and conduct user acceptance testing.
- Regularly reviewing and adjusting the product backlog based on changing market conditions and stakeholder feedback.
- Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and user feedback to assess product success and identify areas for improvement.
- Business process definition, development of current and future state process flows, requirement gathering, documentation, test scenario formation, and execution.
- Ensuring requirement specifications align with industry standards and best practices.
- Project management following established PMO processes.
- Leading project teams through the project management process, adhering to standards, processes, and documentation set by a PMO.
Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of business processes, with a focus on process improvement and automation.
- Ability to develop business requirements, business cases, financial justifications, and ROI for initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to draw conclusions, develop solutions, and take action.
- Experience in coordinating organizational change management.
- Ability to maintain productive customer relationships.
- User acceptance testing management.
- Managing multiple projects and coordinating all aspects of implementation.
- Evaluating software version upgrades and facilitating migrations.
- Collaborating with various departments and 3rd-party providers.
- Experience in software development projects, including mobile applications and AI.
- Understanding of information architecture.
- Proficiency in Agile frameworks like Scrum, XP, or Lean Development.
- Design thinking and workshop experience.
- Experience in building user stories, features, epics, and business cases using tools like Jira.
- Expertise in Miro, Jira, and Jira Align.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Senior Business Analyst role.
- Strong consulting and analytical skills.
- Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and analyze risks.
- Ability to facilitate ideation and business requirements sessions.
- Knowledge of user acceptance testing and test scenario formation.
- Certifications in Scaled Agile and product development are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Compensation: Up to $80 per hour.
