Typical Responsibilities of a Business Analyst:

  • Evaluate business processes, create/review requirements, uncover areas of improvement, and develop and implement solutions.
  • Manage reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
  • Up-to-date knowledge on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
  • Facilitate meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
  • Perform requirements analysis documenting and communicating the results.
  • Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Create and produce reports from critical business needs.
  • Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
  • Providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff.
  • Drive solutions to meet business needs and requirements.
  • Review and direct user acceptance testing.
  • Manage projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
  • Oversee and implement business procedures.
  • Act as liaison between business and technical teams.
  • Effectively meeting deadlines and ensuring successful implementations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related technical experience required.
  • 5+ years of business analysis experience.
  • Solid understanding Veeva systems, data, and processes required.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of the Life Sciences industry.
  • Understanding of concepts of a regulated industry.
  • Attention to details and accuracy.

Salary Range: $110,200 – $165,000
