Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

Duties will include but not be limited to:
• Provide support for the Customer Operations Project Management Office (PMO), Home Energy Management program, Rate Modernization/Time of Day, Energy Efficiency Plan and other high impact customer centric programs to meet the requirements for project deliverables on time and on budget.
• Responsibilities include oversight and coordination of Project Management Lifecycle including scope management, schedule management, resource management, risk management, business process transformation, and change management of projects.
• Coordinate work efforts across the PMO to support defined goals and deliverables.
• Prepare quarterly Utility 2.0 status reports for presentation to LIPA and DPS
• Facilitate the creation, evolution and documentation of business processes and project artifacts.
• Establish, implement and coordinate deliverables across multiple complex projects involving cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate and facilitate internal meetings, both in office and remote, including planning, project kick-offs and status updates.
• Collect, analyze and report project data. Develop and maintain Tableau server dashboards.
• Coordinate, verify and submit budgeting and financial reporting for projects.
• Develop monthly senior leadership Executive Steering Committee agendas, dashboards, and presentations. Work with vendors and business owners to develop reports and present to the Department of Public Service (DPS) and the Long Island Power Authority (LIPA).
• Manage supporting vendors including meetings, logistics, deliverables, and invoicing.
• Conduct other duties in support of the Customer Satisfaction team.

Job Specific Qualifications

Required Skills, Competencies and Education
• Bachelor’s degree
• 7 years of experience in data analysis
• Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
• Experience with project management supporting multiple cross functional teams
• Strong proficiency with systems/tools including MS Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Ability to successfully multi-task and prioritize deliverables, effectively meeting deadlines
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills, Competencies and Education
• Master’s in Business Administration
• Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Lean Six Sigma certification
• Experience working in an electric, gas, cable or telephone industries
• Demonstrated reporting experience including budgeting, financial reporting , progress reporting and metric reporting
