The Lead Cloud Data/Power Platform Engineer supports the development and execution of cloud implementation strategy within the organization’s existing IT infrastructure. The Lead Cloud Data/Power Platform Engineer works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities
- Consult with the Business Owner to understand business problems and help to develop the right solution
- Work collaboratively with teammates to optimally apply automation, data warehouse, cloud and BI architecture, and visualization techniques as dictated by the use case
- Collaborate with teams and elevate technical knowledge of other engineers within the team
- Develop and update technical documentation
- Ensure solutions provide the highest quality of data daily
- Contribute to moving the team towards cloud-based automation or data solutions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 8 or more years of technical experience in data analysis OR Master’s degree and 4 years of experience
- 2 or more years of project leadership experience
- Experience working in the Azure data ecosystem (ADLS/Databricks/ADF/Azure Synapse Analytics)
- Proficiency using Power Automate and Power Apps Desktop. From the Power Apps side, experience with both canvas and model driven apps.
- Experience with data lake/lakehouse design patterns
- 2+ years’ experience with Python
- Proven background in working with big and complex data sets within large organizations
- Ability to analyze data to solve a wide variety of business problems and create data visualizations that drive strategic direction
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and translate requirements between business, project management and technical projects or programs
- Able to present and communicate valuable insights to stakeholders, as well as senior and executive leadership using visualizations
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with Dynamics 365 and/or Dataverse
- Advanced SQL experience
- Prior exposure to Azure Synapse Analytics or other cloud-based platforms
- Ability to mentor junior members of the team
- A strong attention to detail and sense of curiosity

Work at Home Guidance

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$126,800 – $174,500 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
