Details:
A Lead Compliance Engineer job is currently available at Belcan in Cincinnati, OH. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits.
Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive technical compliance for technical regulations and standards (TRS) that affect the design and certification of GE Aeroderivative products. These regulations are specific to 3rd party certification societies, and international industrial standards. Leverage best practices and recommendations across General Electric Co. businesses.
Design:
• Read & interpret existing and new product TRS requirements
• Participate with 3rd parties, customers and internal design reviews in regards to compliance support
• Develop new and manage existing guidelines for TRS requirements
• Assist TRS Leaders, PM & Sourcing for TRS compliance initiatives
• Complete data management, data mining, reporting and recordkeeping for compliance
• Manage TRS compliance data and identify opportunities to automate compliance processes in GE applications (DOORS, SupportCentral, etc.)
Certification:
• Manage 3rd Party certifications for TRS requirements
• Participate in recurring certificating society audits
Job Qualifications & Skills
• Minimum 3 years of compliance experience
• BS degree in engineering or similar
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to learn new tools and concepts quickly (especially if not already experienced in TRS)
• US citizenship or permanent resident is required
• Familiarity with EU REACH regulations
• Familiarity with electrical components
• Familiarity with GE Aeroderivatives (LM product lines) a plus
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $72,800 to $83,200. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
