Lead Construction Project Manager REMOTE

The Opportunity

Delaware North Global Headquarters is hiring a Lead Project Manager – Remote – to join our Design and construction team in Buffalo, New York. As Lead Project Manager, you will manage multiple third-party design teams and contractors along with coordinating the construction or renovation of Delaware North-owned or operated properties. You will manage all aspects of various-sized construction projects including reporting on project issues, ensuring the project is on budget and schedules are being met.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Salary: $107700 – $135700 / year

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate environmental surveying, local agency permitting, PUD submission, traffic study, town hearings, and geotechnical work.
  • Coordinate the construction process such as construction bids, bid negotiations, contracts, equipment arrivals, site personnel, build progress, issuance of progress payments, inspections, and resolution of plan deviations.
  • Manage and conduct value engineering at project milestones to ensure budget and time-lines are met.
  • Conduct site visits to prepare estimates and evaluate the property condition including FFE; document the present condition of the facility.
  • Prepare and record approval requests, commitments, contracts, and payment requests following company policy and guidelines.
  • Maintain all records and files pertinent to the design and construction of the projects.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience in the commercial construction industry.
  • A minimum of three years of experience as an owner’s representative or lead construction project manager overseeing projects exceeding $15M.
  • Knowledge and experience in purchasing, budgeting, negotiating, and awarding contracts.
  • Able to travel up to 60% of the time, potentially weekly.
