The annual base salary for this position ranges from $112,600.00 in our lowest geographic market to $251,800.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate’s location, qualifications, skills and experience.

Who we are looking for:
We are looking for an experienced Governance Privacy Strategy Lead. They will be responsible for shaping the short term and long term Privacy and Data Governance strategy for some of Nike’s Key initiatives. They will be tasked with developing achievable goals and implementing processes that enables business and program objectives. As well as own the program roadmap, communication plan, documentation management process, and stakeholder engagement. This person is expected to be a great communicator and presentation skills, result driven, detail oriented, self-starter, exercising strong leadership working both independently and with project teams to understand, research, determine, document and communicate data privacy direction.
What will you work on:
- Program/project management using JIRA and Aha!
- Personal data identification within different solutions, systems, and data repositories
- Identify data owners against active directory (AD)
- Help define prioritization, execution, and analysis of BigID scan outputs
- Use data visualization tools to communicate incremental progress to portfolio and leadership teams
- Provide process recommendations via documentation to automate and operationalize analysis
- Other duties and responsibilities assigned
Who will you work with:
You will be a part of our Enterprise Data Analytics Governance (EDAG) team within Enterprise Data Analytics Enablement (EDAE). You will be working in the privacy space and reporting directly to the Director, Data Governance- Data Privacy. Collaborating closely with the Privacy, Information Governance, Global Architecture and Platform as a Service (GAP) team and other multi-functional partners.
What you bring (qualifications)
- 6+ years of data management, governance, quality, and data privacy experience.
- Extensive experience in leading projects with a team-focused approach – with the ability to prioritize, organize and manage deadlines.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of data related government regulatory requirements and emerging trends and issues.
- Proven ability to work with business and analytics leaders to identify and align on workable business solutions to data privacy requirements and challenges.
- Demonstrated consulting skills, with change management concepts and strategies.
- Expert interpersonal, written, and verbal skills with proven ability to educate, inform, persuade, and achieve understanding and buy-in on data privacy/data governance needs across different functions, levels and customers.
- Knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection.
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Management or related technical subject area or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in AWS environment primarily EMR, S3, Redshift, Athena, etc
- Experience with data warehouses/RDBMS like Snowflake & Teradata
- Experience in SQL and a scripting language such as Python or R
- Expertise working with governance and BI tools, such as Collibra and BigID, Tableau.
