Lead Financial Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis
This position is part of the FP&A team in Enabling Areas (EA) and will be part of the Consulting Next Gen Finance Team. The Lead Financial Analyst will support multiple Offering Portfolios and report to the Next Gen Asset Team Lead.
Team and Role Description
The Consulting Finance team within Deloitte’s Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization provides specialized finance-related services in support of Consulting’s business leaders. While each of Consulting’s OPs is in a different stage of maturity of developing assets, we see a common increase in focus on these offerings across the business.
Work you will do
This role focuses on the quickly evolving and growing “Next Gen” businesses within Consulting that include hybrid and asset-based offerings. The Next Gen Business Finance team within Consulting helps drive adoption of consistent financial support in partnership with a variety of other FP&A teams. Together, we strive to provide the reports and insights that our leaders need to run these unique businesses in alignment with the guidance established by Deloitte Finance.
In providing finance-related services to the business, this role will be required to:
- Understand asset-enabled hybrid businesses
- Support Asset / PDI teams with Financial reporting and analyses
- Streamline and enhance reporting and analytics processes to drive efficiency and improve the quality of meaningful insights across the asset-enabled businesses.
- Work with leadership to implement best practices across the group such as standardizing the PDI monetization process.
- Managed a complex portfolio of hard investment, soft investment, service and asset / PDI revenue
- Provide meaningful, actionable insights, advice, and recommendations on historic and the future financial performance to the Business’ leadership
- Support initiatives to help the business in achieving its strategic objectives
Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related discipline
- Minimum of 4+ years of relevant finance experience, preferably 2+ years in a FP&A role
- Experience with engagement financial management is also a plus

Technology or Other Requirements
- Extensive experience effectively utilizing financial systems for operations, financial analysis and data extraction
- Advanced / expertise in Excel and PowerPoint and firm financial applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Actively teams with others and has strong communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of financial systems: SAP, BPC, Essbase, etc.
- Familiarity with Zuora a plus.

This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and the State of Nevada and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,400 to $148,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
