Lead Java/Angular Developer
Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Java developer with experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. Responsibilities
- Provide application screen walkthrough to product owners and gather their feedback to address it.
- Participate Integration Testing, UAT Testing, Defect Triaging, Production Implementation and Postproduction activities.
- Participate & provide Deployment Support and Production Validation of release projects. Work on the emergency issues identified for the projects.
- Execute batch jobs and provide support to other upstream and downstream systems.
- Do estimation and scoping of Project Features, User stories and Defects.
- Act as a key liaison between our client and our offshore software development team in India.
- Monitor the application performance, logs, reporting, custom processes, business transaction trends and production alerts of the application.
- Involve in application production support activities such as production defects, emergency issues & ADHOC support.
- Do the peer review of program components being developed & defect fixes.
- Work pro-actively in all release application, system, infrastructure, other dependent. changes and prevent potential issues by documenting and notifying system gaps to the respective application or infrastructure support teams.
- Demonstrate the experience and ability to work without technical oversight and to lead and/or supervise a team of specialists.
Qualifications
- Overall of experience 8 – 12yrs with 3 years of client engagement exp.
- 5+ yrs of relevant experience as Lead.
- Looking for Engineering or postgraduate degree.
- Should have hands on experience in Java, Spring boot, Microservices.
- Should also have experience in Angular, AWS and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge in Agile Methodology and TTD (Test Driven Developments).
- Should have exposure in UiPath & Mule.
- Possess superior oral and written communication skills in order to clearly and effectively convey issues and ideas to team members, management and customers.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $99,000.00 – 150,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
