Boeing Global Services is currently seeking a Lead Level Product Data Management Specialist (Export Compliance Process Focal and Project Support to become part of the BGS Engineering Execution and Integration team in Hazelwood, Mo.
The BGS Engineering Execution and Integration Team administers the AI implementation in close coordination with the mentors and the BGS’s Capability / Function Program Managers to ensure alignment across all BGS and to have an adequate support for the export classification activities.
The selected candidate will define, document and interpret product requirements relevant to certification, configuration, data and data management and engineering processes. Team Member will develop, document, and implement plans and processes to ensure products meet technical, data, regulatory and company requirements and to maintain configuration control. Candidate will track and report data to monitor adherence to regulatory, data configuration and contractual requirements; support audits and reviews to ensure products meet requirements. You will assist with development certification plans, integrated process architecture infrastructures, process models, product structure definitions and/or data requirements/data management processes and will work general direction.
Position Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert for export compliance activities in support of commercial airplane programs.
- Navigate technical business systems, understand technical data and compare to US export regulations for making
- export classification determinations.
- Work cross-functionally in a dynamic Enterprise environment and work closely with all levels of employees and
- managers.
- Ability to work proactively to provide solution recommendations to management.
- Tracks and reports data to monitor adherence to export regulatory requirements.
- Off hours support for Airplane On Ground (AOG’s) and spare part ordering ensuring immediate parts delivery to airlines.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Associates degree or years related work experience, or equivalent combination.
- 3 + years’ experience performing export classification.
- Qualified / Certified Authorized individual
- 5+ years’ experience providing guidance on US export regulations and working in license submissions (e.g., Export Administration Regulations (EAR), U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays if required.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher or equivalent.
- 5 + years’ experience performing export classification.
- 3+ years’ experience in aircraft production systems and/or manufacturing processes.
- 3+ years’ experience utilizing engineering Design tools and systems (eg. CATIVA ENOVIA, PDM, ETC).
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+4 years’ related work experience, 8 years’ related work experience, etc.)

Summary pay range: $94,350 – $146,050
