Job Summary:
Responsible for overseeing the operations of the hotel overnight and providing a high level of guest service. Complete daily paperwork and guest charges and review for accuracy and completeness. Reviews inventory and makes shifts as necessary, provides a high level of guest services, including checking guests in and out, delivering room amenities and answering and addressing any guest inquiries and solve issues.

Job Responsibilities:
- Oversees the front desk operation and functions during the overnight hours in accordance with established procedures.
- Handles the function of guest services by assisting with late check-ins, early check outs, overnight guest requests or concerns, wake up calls and other issues.
- Prepares registration cards and check-in packets for the upcoming day.
- Manages the preparation of daily business activity summary reports and distribution of reports using strong attention to detail and ensuring strict accuracy of information.
- Perform housekeeping duties such as delivering guest and room amenities and maintaining a clean environment including common hotel areas.
- Input data, hours and other pertinent information in to spreadsheets and reports.
- Have a clear and concise understanding of the operating systems used by the hotel and utilize their functions for your day to day duties.
- Post room charges and room taxes to guest accounts and owner accounts.
- Ensure the safety of hotel guests and employees during the overnight hours.
- Communicate effectively to other departments via email and daily shift pass along.
- Assist Bell and Valet when appropriate.
- Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Front Office Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager, or Front Desk Supervisor.

Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Work experience in a guest service facet, hotel audit preferred. Accounting experience is a plus.
- Microsoft Office, Property Management Systems (IQware preferred), General Computing.
- Ability to communicate in English effectively in both written and verbal mediums.
- At least one year of relevant clerical experience – required.
- Basic typing skills with computer data entry experience – preferred.
- Basic reading, spelling, and math skills – required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time – required.
- Ability to converse clearly and comfortably with many different types of people – required.
- Able to deal courteously and efficiently with customers and other company personnel – required.
- Ability to learn a variety of information about the company’s lodging and recreational facilities, packages and services, as well as general information about the area – required.
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License / Ability to operate guest and company vehicles.
Job Responsiblities:
- Position is overnight and applicant must be willing to work alone.
- Applicant must be able to valet guest vehicles and provide luggage assistance.
- Facilitate guest check-in and check-out and provide general information
- Professional appearance, excellent guest service skills, ability to multitask and strong verbal communication skills are required.
- Candidates with prior guest service experience in a fast paced environment preferred.

Job Requirements:

- MS Office proficiency – required
- Prior front desk experience is a plus.
- Able to communicate with guest, homeowners, and colleagues with diplomacy and tact
- Previous knowledge of the Resort is strongly preferred
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
- Proficient on property management systems (SMS, PMS, LMS) – preferred
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is required
The expected pay range is $20.00 – $25.00. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
