JOB DETAILS

Base pay starts at $31.00 to 33.00 per hour

Shift: Day Shift (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM – Rotating Shifts)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manufacturing Team Leader coordinates the daily safety, supervision, production, and maintenance planning activities. Including communicating, scheduling, and counseling with employees, coworkers, managers, and business partners. Accountable to manufacturing management team for successful performance of their respective team goals. A level III team leader has expert experience and demonstrated skillsets in the role as well has the ability to back up the operations planner as needed.

  • Must have a full understanding of all aspects of manufacturing line coordination as well as the ability to operate forklifts, cranes, side loaders, and yard trucks to lead and give sound guidance to the teams operating this equipment
  • Understanding all safety rules and precautions necessary for working in and about a manufacturing environment. As well as perform daily inspections of equipment, corrective action orders, LSWO’s, and accountability documents
  • Good oral and written communication skills for interactions with management, shop floor operators, peers, drivers, transportation, scheduling, brand delivery coordinators and other inter organizational plant personnel
  • Has knowledge of packaging parts using all types of crating and packaging materials, metal bands, covering, or other methods to secure and protect parts in shipment
  • Understands actual vs. maximum allowable production. Must perform scheduling audits to ensure proper volume and expectations
  • Schedules team work schedule, PTO reqs, and approves time punches in Dayforce daily as per management expectations
  • Gives on the job direction to new employees and/or others assisting in department
  • Assist with inventory counts as required
  • Maintain continuous improvement practices in work area
  • May be assigned other projects and duties as designated (AMS, Special punch entry, etc.)
  • Supports the company core values, goals, & actions to live by
  • Attends daily meetings and reporting on performance
  • Conducts healthy accountability, review, interview, HR, and hiring practices

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Higher Education
  • 5+ yrs Experience in direct supervision of employees
  • 10+ years experience in Manufacturing
  • 5+ years computer experience with office and production programs (Email, Excel, Word, Oracle, Syteline, Citix, OTM
  • Oracle or Equivalent Experience

  • Able to Read a Tape Measure
