Redpoint is looking for a Technical Writer – Lead to join our team. This individual will be responsible for creating engaging content for our customers and prospects, defining the end-to-end content creation and publication processes and building a team of technical writers to support these initiatives. They will lead technical writing activity across all product development, support and best practice teams within the organization.

The immediate responsibilities will include:
• Create user manuals, architectural guides, process flows, solution blueprints and other content needed to understand the functionality and capabilities of the Redpoint rg1 Platform.
• Determine the clearest, most understandable way to present information for greatest comprehension across text, video, image and other interactive formats.
• Review and edit content for clarity without changing the meaning of key details.
• Conduct independent research and exploration to build a comprehensive understanding of platform capabilities including intended usage patterns and limitations.
• Interview internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to gain a deep understanding of the products and solutions being documented.
• Provide mentoring and technical advice to other technical writing resources.
• Define documentation standards and templates.
• Perform quality assurance review and validation for team deliverables for adherence to standards and templates.
• Define and enforce workflow for content management, creation, revision, publication, and maintenance.
• Conduct periodic audits of documentation to identify and address any content gaps or outdated materials.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute to product development discussions to provide insights on documentation requirements and usability aspects.
• Manage evaluation, selection, and adoption of content management and delivery tools and technologies.
• Manage individual and team tasks and activities, report status to management.

Requirements
• A bachelor’s degree or higher in a related discipline.
• Proven experience (10+ years) working as a Technical Writer in the software industry, preferably with experience in CDP, CRM, marketing automation, or related technologies.
• Demonstrated experience in managing technical writing teams.
• Fluency in English, other languages a plus.
• Excellent technical writing skills.
• Familiarity with documentation tools and formats, such as Markdown, XML, HTML, and version control systems like Git.
• Excellent cross-team coordination and collaboration skills.
• The ability to understand and explain complex topics simply and clearly.
• Experience selecting and implementing tools and technology to support content management and delivery.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deliver on aggressive timelines.
• Motivated, independent, self-starter able to drive tasks to completion and escalate issues for support when necessary.
