Lead Therapist Home Support

To provide professional therapeutic services to youth and families with emotional and psychiatric problems. The Lead HSS Therapist will be responsible to provide leadership, clinical guidance to Home Support Services (HSS) staff and therapeutic intervention including coaching, mentoring, etc. to the youth and families served. Services are provided in an effort to create improved quality of life for youth and their families while maintaining appropriate professional relationships & documentation

Qualifications

  1. Education: Master Degree (60 Credit Hour Program) in social work, counseling, or similar field of study
  2. 21 years old or older
  3. Previous Professional Experience: 3 years post licensure experience or ability to obtain 20 hours of board certified clinical supervision training within first 3 months of employment.
  4. License and/or Certification: Montana Licensure as LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT
  5. Competencies or Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s)
    1. Influencing skills: The Lead HSS Therapist must be able to influence others through their credibility, leadership skills, and the ability to build and present compelling clinical and business cases.
    2. Ability to build rapport and maintain good working relationship with team members, partner agencies & staff, and other stakeholders.
    3. Ability to adhere to code of ethics including: The Child and Youth Worker Code of Ethics, The National Association of Social Worker Code and The American Psychological Association Code
    4. Knowledge of behavior modification and age-appropriate child development
    5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    6. Excellent time management skills, organizational skills and flexibility
    7. Excellent active listening skills
    8. Good computer skills and able to quickly learn and use YBGR selected software solutions.
    9. Good judgment and decision-making skills
    10. Obtain and maintain certification in First Aid/CPR and Violence Intervention Prevention.
  6. Criminal / Child Abuse Clearance: Must pass criminal record and child abuse registry background check as required by the State of Montana.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Preferred experience within YBGR programs.
  2. Supervisory experience preferred.
