A Lead Wiring and Harness Installation Engineer position is currently available in Philadelphia, PA. Position is a full-time, direct opportunity with benefits. To be considered for this role, you will need a bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of engineering experience or an equivalent degree and experience combination.

Wiring and Harness Installation Engineer job duties:
• Responsible for harness routing and clipping solutions within the assigned sector.
• Development of 3D models and 2D drawings of pre- and post-production detail parts, assemblies, installations, sub-systems, and integrations for rotocraft & fixed wing electrical design
• Support customer in electrical hardware integration and internal wiring from design to production phases
• Responsible for leading small team of 4-5 engineers and small project leadership.
• Works directly with the customer coordinate & maintain project deliverables and schedule.
• Travel 25% or less

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a recognized engineering field from an accredited institution and equivalent 10+ years of work experience
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Experienced with harness routing design in CAD software Catia V5 required and Mentor Graphics preferred as well.
• Ability to interpret provided engineering requirements and determine solution paths,
• Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams, communicate technical information effectively with both internal team and external customers
• Manage time efficiently, and produce accurate designs
• Ability to learn quickly, multitask efficiently, and flexible enough to meet evolving customer prioritization of tasks
• Experience with aerospace, automotive, or industrial.

Desired Qualifications:
• Analysis skills to be able to identify and quickly resolve/mitigate issues
• Background/interest in aerospace (school/internship/work experience)
• Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, ASME Y14.100 drafting standards, SAE AS50881, ITAR trade compliance
• Experience with following software tools: PDM/DCAC/MRM, BOEBE Apps for CATIA, CATIA/Enovia, Bogart, WIRS, Electrical Web Apps (WLI/ELI), IVT FASTR, eDAT
• Experience with CAD Software UGNX, Mentor Graphics, Solidworks, Creo, Inventor, etc are also considered.

Compensation:
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary of $85,000 to $125,000 however Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.’
