Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Leader of Materials Management & Transportation (Level K) to support the FAD Fulfillment Team based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.
For this role, successful candidates will have strong knowledge of the industry and previous leadership experience. We are looking for a leader who actively focuses on their employee’s strengths while building trust throughout their team. This leader will have exceptional communication, time management, and organizational skills.
Position Responsibilities :
- Manages and integrates employees activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Manages, develops and motivates employees
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams
- 5+ years of experience working with Supply Chain
- 5+ years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- 1+ years of experience with Quality Management Systems and/or One Boeing Production System (One BPS)
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role leading diverse teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change
- 3+ years of experience in a role requiring strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience team building, developing and motivating employees
- 3+ years of experience on the 787 program
- 1+ years of experience using Velocity
- 3+ years of experience leading high performing teams in fast-paced settings
- 3+ years of experience in a customer service role
