This position allows for an optional hybrid work arrangement which includes a combination of both in-office and remote work arrangements. (Maximum of two days remote, three days in-office). To be eligible for the program, employees must complete a minimum of 6 months of continuous, regular employment, be in good standing, and submit a formal hybrid work application prior to being eligible for hybrid work, pending supervisor approval. Work schedules will be established by the employee’s supervisor according to business needs. Working locations and schedules may be altered at management discretion.

Job Purpose: Responsible for training and educational content development, delivery, communication, optimization, and outcome assessment. Creates highly effective video and visual media content that helps develop essential workforce skills and increases individual effectiveness.
Essential Job Results:
JOB SPECIFIC RESULTS
- Develop and maintain training course content including user manuals, presentation materials, quick reference guides, online/video content, hands-on training exercises and other training content as needed utilizing Instructional Systems Design (ISD) models.
- Assists with employee training, development and education efforts by preparing materials, scheduling meetings, arranging for presenters, preparing facilities, facilitating meetings and/or conducting trainings, including but not limited to sales and service, employee benefits, leadership development, succession planning, harassment and discrimination, new employee orientation, safety and compliance trainings, and other non-job-specific topics.
- Collaborates interdepartmentally to develop and implement training. Collaboratively assesses training outcomes to gauge effectiveness and need for revision.
- Assists with employee training, development and education efforts for special projects as defined in the credit unions strategic plan under the direction of the Vice President of Human Resources and Director of Human Resources.
- Assign open cases and monitor feedback resolution on procedures and work instruction using Engageware employee knowledge management system.
- Organizes, develops, and maintains training manuals, job aids, reference library, testing and evaluation procedures, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.
- Assists managers to coordinate and schedule employees for participation in internal and external educational and training programs.
- Maintains related training files and databases. Generate reports from files and databases as directed and appropriate.
- Keeps informed on new developments, methods, technologies and techniques in the training field. Stays current on training topics.
- Completes other duties, including clerical and routine duties by updating databases and other files. Also, prepares documents, files and materials as directed and necessary; collects data/research information as directed and necessary; assists in communicating and promoting key elements in the strategic framework (mission, core values and guiding financial principles, vision, strategy, corporate culture, diversity awareness and appreciation, morale and spirit, etc.) as directed and necessary; assists with updating the Intranet and Internet as directed and necessary; assists in coordinating employee relations and event planning activities; assists with projects as directed and necessary.
GENERAL STAFF RESULTS
- Maintains member and employee confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential and sharing on a business-related as-needed basis only.
- Engages in problem resolution by clarifying the members and/or employees complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution; and keeping the supervisor informed of problems and solutions.
- Complies with UKFCU policies and procedures by enforcing and adhering to internal UKFCU procedures and board-established policies.
- Complies with federal, state and local regulations and legal requirements (including those relating to human resources functions) by enforcing and adhering to requirements.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge (including knowledge of human resources topics) by maintaining an awareness of competitors rates and terms, industry trends and technology; attending staff meetings; identifying opportunities to attend seminars that enhance skills and maintain knowledge of new products that could assist in improving operational effectiveness; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; and participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to a team effort by accomplishing corporate and individual goals and other related results as needed.

Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Three to Five years of similar or related experience
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent including business, communication, instructional design and education.
- Well-developed ability to communicate with others one-on-one and in groups, fielding questions.
- Strong technical process skills involving Learning Management Systems preferred.
- Prior facilitation and presentation experience preferred.
- Prior instructional course design experience preferred.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions while dealing with a variety of concrete variables.
- Well-developed ability to write reports, correspondence and procedures.
- Ability to work independently.
