The Learning and Development Specialist, Advisor reports to the Sr Director Learning and Development and is responsible for designing, developing and facilitating employee and management development programs in support of Zebra’s strategic goals. This person will partner with the business, HR and external vendors to ensure the implementation of effective learning and development programs across the enterprise.
Responsibilities:
- Design, development, implement and facilitate management and employee learning programs.
- Understand the latest skill needs, make connections between employee’s capabilities and organizational requirements, gaps and provide employee with the right Learning and Development offerings
- Consult with cross functional. stakeholder groups to assess and analyze learning and training needs, assists in the recommendation process to decision-makers, identifies delivery methods and implements plans accordingly.
- Build, maintain and direct resources to deliver a curriculum employee development, people management as well as a coaching culture utilizing both in person and virtual lead training.
- Support the ongoing utilization and growth of the Learning Experience Platform to support employee development.
- Adapt style and tone of content development to fit a variety of role across the enterprise (hourly, salaried, management etc.)
- Analyze and utilize data to make recommendations to business stakeholders and well as Learning and Development leadership for the future learning across the system
- Ensure overall learning integrity through monitoring, feedback and ongoing analysis of key metrics, leveraging KPIs.
- Manage external vendors, negotiate contracts, and oversee the service from design to delivery.
- Capabilities to be deployed are, but are not limited to, program and project management, adult learning strategy and content development, data analysis, written and verbal communication
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, adult learning/education or equivalent professional experience required
- 8+ Years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of Adult Learning Theory
- Excellent facilitation skills including the ability to deliver programs via virtual platforms as well in person
- Ability to establish strong presence with leaders across the organization
- Extensive experience in the design, management and facilitation of management and employee development programs and courses in multiple modalities
- Ability to travel up to 15%
Preferred:
- Experience with a Learning Experience Platform a plus

Salary: USD 89900.00 – USD 134900.00 Yearly
Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
