A Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator provides technical leadership in support of an organization’s learning management system. This position is responsible for the design, development, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of resources used for instructional functions. The LMS Specialist is the primary system administrator for the learning management system. The installation of all system updates, upgrades, integrated tools, and other software associated with the LMS fall within the responsibility of the LMS Specialist.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support day-to-day operations in learning management system, including ILT/VILT course scheduling, eLearning content testing, and updates, general maintenance, account provisioning, access, and user permissions.
• Support customers who have software-related questions or issues in the learning management system.
• Develop training and material for users of the system to review and learn from. This includes both learners and instructors. Regularly compile, review, and process course enrollment data for students and instructors.
• Review, track, and compile reports on course and content engagement, provide recommendations to teams, take proactive actions to improve learning engagements.
• Maintain professional working relationships with multiple clients and vendors.
• Write articles for a technical support knowledge base.
• Analyze support case data to identify and prioritize root problems.
• Configure an LMS to support online, hybrid, and blended instruction.
• Work directly with users to resolve technical issues.
• In collaboration with Cambium, Partners, and Distributors, assist in mapping out training plans and schedules.
• Market available training to employees and provide necessary information about sessions.
• Assist in program training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed.
• Based on data results, help assess instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills.
• Gather feedback from trainers and trainees after each educational session.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and collaborate with the training team to recognize knowledge gaps and course development.
• Maintain updated curriculum database and training records.
• Help manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment.
• Report and submit program data metrics to relevant departments and organizations.

EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND

This position requires an associate or bachelor’s degree, preferably with either an IT or education focus. We will consider candidates with at least two years of experience dealing with learning management systems.

• Knowledge of SCORM 1.2, 2004 and AICC tracking standards, and ability to troubleshoot course issues.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). Highly proficient in Excel or like spreadsheet tools, experience with advanced formulas and functions (vlookups, pivot tables).
• Understand of Agile methodology.
• Experience with Docebo LMS is a plus.

$60,000 – $65,000 a year

The annual salary range for this position in the US is dependent on a number of factors including location and experience. This position will also be eligible for bonus. The Company has a bonus plan with issuance of awards contingent on company achievement of established targets, and an employee’s own individual performance.
