Chamber of Progress, a center-left tech industry association devoted to technology’s progressive future, is seeking a Legal Analyst for a full time, nine-week writing and analysis project focusing on the intersection of antitrust law and technology. The short-term contract position would begin the week of September 18, 2023 and last through November 17, 2023.
Responsibilities
- Analyze issues related to pending technology industry antitrust lawsuits and investigations
- Write blogs and tweet posts on current developments in tech industry litigation and regulation
- Become a quick expert on the product and legal issues at stake in pending investigations and litigation
- Assist in drafting public commentary on current events in technology and antitrust
Requirements
- J.D. degree
- Minimum of 4 years post-law school work experience in the legal field
- Prior experience with antitrust law
- Extremely fast learner
- Familiarity with technology industry issues
- Outstanding writing and analytic abilities
- Fast writer
- Location: Washington, DC
Grant / Benefits
- $2500 – $5000 per week, for nine weeks
- Approximately 40-45 hours per week
- Position would begin the week of September 18, 2023 and last through November 17, 2023.
- This role is an independent contracting position that does not include benefits
