Under the general direction of a Paralegal III or Associate Attorney, the Administrator, Legal I is responsible for creating, organizing, tracking and maintaining transactional documents and/or employment contracts, and other information and databases for licensed professionals and business entities. The individual works closely with attorneys, paralegals, executives, management, field personnel, clients, outside vendors, contractors, and additional administrative support staff in the National Support Office to provide related support integral to the organization’s operations.

Responsiblities

  • Provide general department admin support, includes projects and coordination.
  • Provide support to attorneys and paralegals with transaction filings, correspondence, and agreements including maintaining data in databases, producing reports, and auditing databases.
  • Draft, prepare and submit correspondence to governmental agencies, includes gathering supporting documents, signatures and approvals.
  • File required governmental agency applications, forms, registrations, permits and requests.
  • Utilize templates to draft, maintain, and track various applications, filings, contracts and agreements for licensed individuals and business entities.
  • Handle transmitting documents via DocuSign and FedEx.
  • Update databases, generate reports and upload/file executed documents/contracts into closing binders and online document repository.
  • Research documents and websites for various information as instructed by paralegals or attorneys.
  • Analyze and propose processes improvements for reports and databases.
  • Other duties as assigned by attorneys, paralegals, or management.

Required

  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited college in the related field or paralegal certification from an ABA accredited program. In lieu of degree, 4+ years of experience is required or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • +2 years related legal transactional or contracts experience.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with Salesforce, DocuSign CLM, DocuSign eSignature, Box, and/or Smartsheet is a plus.
