Job Description
Seeking a Legal Operations Specialist to join our litigation team on a full-time/permanent basis. Perform duties related to implementation and management of litigation support software platforms including but not limited to CSC, DISCO and Relativity. This includes loading documents, case management, conducting research, training and guidance to outside counsel and internal stakeholders as needed.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Perform activities necessary to prepare data for loading into document review platforms and/or delivering to outside counsel for production.
- Manage requests in locating documents, depositions, and other case related needs.
- Run reports in case management system.
- Conduct Quality Assurance evaluations.
- Maintain documentation relating to case updates, scheduling orders, settlement agreements, etc.
- Calendar key dates for all litigation matters
- Update various types of documentation as processes are changed.
- Communication with internal stakeholders via phone, email, and video teleconferencing.
- Review case documents and communications to assist litigation team with general case management and various other needs.
- Assist in preparing written and oral presentations.
- Provide general office support, including greeting visitors, distributing incoming mail, scanning documents and filing.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Respond to inquiries of a routine nature.
- Process invoices for payment.
- Maintain litigation team calendar.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent relevant work experience is required.
- Strong organizational skills; maintaining complex levels of organization electronically.
- Strong understanding of computer concepts and technology i.e., email, cloud, file sharing, etc.
- Advanced technical skills in: Microsoft O365, specifically PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Adobe in a PC environment.
- Prior legal specific knowledge or legal software knowledge is a plus.
- Prior Project Management experience is a plus.
- Experience assembling and organizing legal documents.
- Experience gathering, maintaining and organizing information and a large volume of documents.
- Experience maintaining a case management system.
- Experience preparing written and oral presentations.

The compensation range for this position is approximately $60,000 – $82,500 and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education
