We are seeking a Legal Support Assistant to assist in our Legal Support Services Department. This position allows growth and development opportunities through cross-training; with the intention to advance as a legal assistant or other team member. This is a full-time assignment.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position that requires regular and predictable attendance. This position is scheduled 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, in our Seattle office. This position reports directly to the Legal Support Supervisor. This position is on-site daily; no remote work available at this time.

Responsibilities:
The Legal Support Assistant provides attorneys, paralegals and legal assistants with on-site legal support. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: monitoring electronic communications, responding to internal stakeholder requests, coordinating and assisting with firm mailings, assisting with onsite preparation of litigation materials, routine electronic and physical filing, creating and maintaining client matter files in accordance with firm-wide records, and other special assignments as needed. The position introduces various aspects of legal support work through shadowing and cross-training in areas such as docketing, billing, and word processing. This is an on-site position reporting to the Legal Support Supervisor; working in close partnership with our Attorney and Legal Assistant teams in providing exceptional client service. This position requires regular and predictable attendance.
Minimum Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- 1 year of administrative experience in a Legal environment is preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks as assigned and complete them within acceptable time constraints
- Strong oral and written communication skills with attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to successfully partner with all levels of the organization
- Ability to problem-solve
- Ability to learn and utilize Department database software and inventory system for files
- Ability to operate at the highest level of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality
- Ability to perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on short notice
- Ability to manage a varied workload in a timely manner; with courtesy and tact

Preferred Qualification
- Experience working in the legal or professional services industry (preferable within a Law Firm Records Department)
Hours / Schedule / Location:

- Infrequent travel may be required for cross-office projects

Salary Range:
- $48,000 annually to $53,000 Annually
