Infrastructure Technician (Level 2) Immediate Opportunity!
In this Level 2 Desktop Technician role near Overland Park, KS, you will configure, troubleshoot, and monitor the functioning of personal computers and server systems. You will undertake pre-emptive maintenance on equipment, escalate issues which are unresolved, aid other teams in supporting different operating systems such as Wide Area Network (WAN) and Local Area Network (LAN). Respond to phone calls, messages and emails relating to system issues or hardware problems.
Other activities you will be responsible for are;
- Keep abreast of equipment and hardware contracts.
- Deploy products quickly to address crucial business needs of an organization.
- Provide help with network issues.
- Work along with other members of the IT team to install new software.
- Provide assistance in maintaining inventory of peripheral devices of all systems.
- Create documentation of computer hardware issues and trouble shooting.
- Work with the latest versions of operating systems, such as Windows or macOS or UNIX/Linux.
*Pay Rate: Between $25.00 per hour and $35.00 per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
