Salary Range: $20.651 – $23.949

Essential Functions and Objectives:

– The School Community Liaison coordinates and acts as a liaison between various school-based programs and students, families, parents, community, and homeless interests, as directed.

– Support the Dean of Culture with discipline and restorative processes.

– Support students with Edgeunity (online platform for credit recovery)

– Act promptly to resolve problems, issues and requests from students, families, parents, and community interests.

– Take initiative to investigate and recommend the piloting of new strategies.

– Conduct research and analyze various school-based programs, developing project plans and schedules, and produces recommendations, as directed.

– Solve scheduling and coordination problems through consensus with students, families, parents, community, and homeless interests.

– Maintain a current knowledge of developments in education that enhance the achievement of objectives and positive relationships with

students, families, parents, community, and homeless interests.

– Maintain both the integrity and confidentiality of all data, as directed.

– Develop and maintain effective communications with students, families, parents, community, and homeless interests.

Knowledge, Experience & Other Qualifications:

– A minimum of one (1) year of related experience. Experience working with youth in an urban education setting is preferred.

Education Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
