Lifeguard- Englewood Recreation Center

OVERVIEW

Join our dedicated aquatics team now. Our lifeguards are Ellis & Associates trained and provide a high level of service to our community. Lifeguarding is the essential first job, will get you through college and a great retirement gig. If you enjoy learning new skills, interacting with people and helping others, this is the job for you. Our central location provides easy access to light rail and is a short commute to ACC, DU and Metro. This is a part time position up to 30 hours per week. Successful applicants must be 15 years of age and able to swim 200 meters using freestyle or breaststroke. Training is available.

No Experience, No problem. Paid training available.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Safeguards all activities of guests using the swimming pool and sauna
  2. Performs first aid when necessary
  3. Performs minor maintenance duties in and around the facility
  4. Performs water chemistry duties
  5. Administers emergency first aid and CPR if the situation warrants
  6. Welcomes and assists all guests entering the pool area
  7. Enforces all facility rules, policies and regulations
  8. Performs duties necessary to maintain a clean and safe facility
  9. Attend work on a regular, reliable basis and secure substitutes for shifts unable to attend

Education and Experience

Minimum 15 years old, ability to swim 200 meters freestyle or breaststroke

10am-4pm
