Job Description
LIMS Administrator responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Facilitates optimization and administration of the LIMS to include, but not limited to, test code creation, rule creation, customized reports, modifications, user account management, barcode/printer management, and minor systems administration
- Oversees and implements software and potential hardware modifications to the LIMS using Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices, working in conjunction with the software validation specialist(s); Also performs necessary IQ/OQ/PQ in conjunction with software validation specialist(s) pertaining to the LIMS and any other custom software validations
- Creates, updates, and maintains all operational procedures relevant to the LIMS and trains the departments as necessary with respect to any changes
- Provides high-level project management for any LIMS projects and manages vendor(s) as they relate to such projects
- Determines resources and requirements needed for proper implementation, upgrades, or other maintenance functions of the LIMS
- Provides vendor management support and works on future upgrades, modifications, and other business needs within the LIMS
- Develop tests to validate coding changes prior to releasing to the production environment
- Responding to requests from the development team
- Assist the infrastructure team with all aspects of maintaining the integrity of the IT infrastructure
- Assist and provide Help Desk support for all of VRL locations; potential travel to satellite locations for new laboratory setup or ongoing maintenance
- Willingness to be scheduled for after hours on-call support
- Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate would possess :
- Experience coordinating or working at a high level within an LIS/LIMS; rule creation, test code analysis, workflow management a plus
- Experience working with LabVantage preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong technical, problem solving and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of cGMPs and other regulatory guidelines
Qualifications
Basic Minimum Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a laboratory environment
- Previous IT experience a plus
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Potential Environmental Factors:
- This laboratory carefully maintains all hazardous materials. All employees must abide by VRL Eurofins’s Safety and Exposure procedures. This includes using the provided safety clothing and equipment.

Additional Information
Position is full-time remote , Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, + On Call and overtime, as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Centennial, CO are encouraged to apply.
