A reputable legal firm in Toms River, NJ is actively seeking a Litigation or Real Estate Transactional Paralegal to join their team! The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in commercial litigation or transactional real estate and will be responsible for supporting 2-3 attorneys in drafting, filing, and calendaring tasks. The position requires an individual with either a Paralegal certificate or a BA degree. Pay Range: $25 – $31/hr DOE
Responsibilities:
- Support 2-3 attorneys in either litigation or real estate transaction department
- Lead various tasks and assignments based on attorneys’ requirements
- Handle drafting and filing duties
- Manage calendaring and coordinate with the legal team
- Assist team members when they are unavailable and ensure team cohesiveness
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in commercial litigation OR Transactional Real Estate (land use)
- Possess either a Paralegal certificate OR a BA degree
- Familiarity with legal software such as PC Law, Time Matters, and Google Drive
- Lexus proficiency is a plus
- Strong organizational and team collaboration skills
