Come join our dynamic team. The Livestream Technician supports Amazon Events scheduled to be livestreamed or recorded. This includes testing, troubleshooting, communicating with local AV and Organizers of events, and post-production delivery. The individual should have a diverse AV background with experience in livestreaming, audio, video, lighting and integrated AV systems. Additionally, the team member will have strong organizational skills, calendaring, self-accountability, ability to work across multiple teams and cultures, demonstrate impeccable customer service, and be energetically driven to meet the needs of our customers and team.
Responsibilities include:
Prompt, thorough, professional communication with team, customer, and business partners.
Accomplishing tasks, keeping up with calendaring and emails on a daily basis.
Raising the bar at the level of production and design applied to daily livestreams/recordings.
Any additional responsibilities assigned by management.
Pre-event:
Reaching out and touching base with local building AV and event POC.
Connecting and testing remote locations with local systems.
Event execution:
Launch timely events for livestreams and recordings.
Ability to make executive decisions on audio and video productions levels in a wide variety of event situations.
Optimizing systems for best quality attainable.
Dynamically flex to customer needs and complications.
Post-event:
Touch base with organizer post event.
Provide simple edits and deliver recordings to organizers.
Upload metrics for each event. Provide edits of any recordings needing additional post-production.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of Windows Server technologies: AD, DFS, Print Services, SCCM experience
- 2+ years of troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment experience
- 2+ years of PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation experience
- 1+ years of IT client, server, and network service delivery experience
- 2+ years of networking (such as DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP) experience
- 2+ years of corporate setting Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience
- High school or equivalent diploma
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 or 4-year degree in livestreaming/AV or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of livestreaming support experience, in a corporate environment.
- 2+ years of customer support experience.
- Strong understanding of livestreaming software and back end.
- Strong understanding of event AV and live event processes
- Experience with Telestream Wirecast software.
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud suite (Premiere, After Effects).
- Strong experience working with Elemental products (Encoders).
- Strong knowledge in AWS livestreaming products (Elemental MediaLive, MediaPackage).

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $40,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $103,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
