What you’ll do…
The Platform Specialist is responsible for platform administration on behalf of Walmart Connect. Therefore, the Platform Specialist is responsible for operational performance of the LMS platform. The Platform Specialist executes platform administrative tasks, quality assurance, and project management in order to deliver on the customers’ business objectives- employee training and/or customer education. In partnership with the Instructional Design Team and broader Training and Education Team, the Platform Specialist must be able to provide technical expertise and best practices based on comprehensive understanding of the LMS (Intellum) products. This can be measured through customer platform feature adoption and utilization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide all administrative tasks for the platform
  • Perform quality assurance and testing
  • Partner closely with ID Team to ensure the successful execution of all content launches while maintaining flawless quality assurance standards
  • Partner closely with the Training and Education teams to efficiently and effectively solve customer challenges with a sense of urgency
  • Partner with the ID Team to understand customers’ strategic business and operational objectives to maximize their effectiveness
  • Build customer relationships and become a trusted advisor on their high-value business problems
  • Own project management related to platform administrative projects

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in client-facing role
  • Experience in working with complex, multi-divisional, multi-geographical customers
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Impressive executive presence and communication abilities
  • Ability to create structure in ambiguous situations and recommend design for effective processes
  • Bias for action with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, high energy level and the ability to thrive in a virtual team environment who lives our values of simplicity, honesty, and innovation
  • Passion for education and learning science technology and for being a part of a fast-growing ad-tech company
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g. Sales, Product, Marketing, Services)
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Be a practiced problem-solver with sincere curiosity and ability to dissect and understand the WHY of the problem
  • Ability to autonomously manage relationships with senior people at outside parties (e.g., customers and partners), with the ability to navigate challenging customer situations
  • Prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks/projects in a fast-paced, deadline and metrics driven environment while deliver quality results
  • Anticipate roadblocks or problems and pivot according
  • Previous experience with administration of software, Learning Management Systems
  • Be a self-starter with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, high energy level and the ability to thrive in a team environment who lives our values of simplicity, honesty, and innovation
  • Be extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Be a practiced problem-solver always bringing solutions to the table

Preferred Skills

  • 2+ years in a technical project management role
  • Previous use of Intellum products including eVolve, Exceed, Tribe, and/or Level
  • SaaS software experience
  • Experience with learning-focused software preferred
  • Proficient in Mac and PC OSs

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of experience

The annual salary range for this position is $64,480.00-$102,500.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

– Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

– Stock equity incentives
