A Logistics Specialist I job is available with a client in Colorado Springs, CO. In this role you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of logistics documentation for spares, tools, test equipment, materials, and related manuals to be deployed and stocked. You will also support routing, documenting, and coordinating shipping logistics, records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals, and tracking logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of our storage facilities. To be considered for this role you will have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Logistics Specialist I Job Duties:
* Document and archive all receipts, location transfers, customer requests for continuity.
* Archive and maintain digital and physical archives of records.
* Receive, package / preserve, and maintain inventory in appropriately sized locations.
* Perform transactions utilizing automated applications to issue and status material.
* Input data into automated accounting system. Run reports and resolve any inaccuracies related to material on daily / weekly basis.
* Generate pick lists based on manufacturing order release date, assembles, processes, and packages kits to deliver to customer.
* Stock material in appropriate locations based on component size / weight / ESD / hazardous designations.
* Issue and maintain packaging and preservation equipment / supplies for the warehouse and business area as needed.
* Conduct annual physical or quarterly cycle counts on all Program/GFM/Common Stock in the warehouse. Accountable for inventory accuracy and cost variance in accordance with our MMAS.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
* High school diploma or GED equivalent.
* Customer service skills.
* The ability to lift 50lbs. and successfully pass a non-DOT physical that includes a baseline audiogram and a vision test is required.
* A current driver”s license and satisfactory driving record is required.
* The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.
