What You’ll Do:

Responsibilities of the Lottery Ticket Sales Representative 2 include but are not limited to:

  • Provide training to Lottery Ticket Sales Representative 1’s in the Region.
  • Provide training to Lottery retailers in the Region on topics such as Lottery policies and procedures, terminals, inventory, and Lottery accounting and bookkeeping practices.
  • Serve as a regional resource person to resolve problems with tickets, accounting and bookkeeping discrepancies, terminals, equipment, and other matters.
  • Assist Regional Sales Management staff with sale of business transactions.
  • Use Lottery software applications to review sales data and retailer information.
  • Service Lottery retailers in various sales districts within the Region during absences and times of short staffing.
  • Provide excellent customer service to retailers.
  • Remain up-to-date and knowledgeable about Lottery products and services.
  • Keep assigned vehicle clean, organized and properly filled with supplies.
  • Perform other duties and work on special projects.

Qualifications
Completion of undergraduate core program in business administration to include coursework in marketing (e.g., sales management, sales promotion, advertising, consumer behavior & research, retail management) or 24 months experience in marketing areas in previously cited coursework; 18 months training or 18 months experience in public relations; 3 courses or 9 months experience in accounting procedures; valid driver’s license; registered notary public; demonstrate strength to push, pull or otherwise move up to 35 lbs.

-Or 24 months experience as Lottery Ticket Sales Representative 1, 64581; valid driver’s license; registered notary public; demonstrate strength to push, pull or otherwise move up to 35 lbs.

-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
