Summary

Maintains responsibility for executing and assisting in the development of national and retailer programs that support assigned Love Promise Community Commitment causes. Leads the coordination of marketing activities with various internal and external stakeholders to build awareness for the national and retailer programs that support the Subaru of America (SOA) goals of being More Than a Car Company and of our retailers being More Than a Car Dealer. Oversees a portfolio of nonprofit and for-profit partners connected to assigned Love Promise Community Commitment causes.

Primary responsibilities

  • Executes the national and retailer programs related to assigned Love Promise Community Commitment causes by tracking deadlines, deliverables, and project status. Works cross-functionally with external agencies and internal SOA stakeholders including Executives, Legal, Accounting, Corporate Responsibility, Field Team, Corporate Communications, Risk Management, Customer Advocacy, and other Marketing teams. As applicable, handles legal agreements between SOA and partners and sources retailer donation items.
  • Coordinates marketing activities for the national and retailer programs by partnering and strategizing with external agencies and SOA Advertising for implementation on various marketing channels, including Media, Corporate Communications, Social Media, Brand Partnerships, etc. Acts as reviewer and approver for marketing and promotional materials created for assigned Love Promise Community Commitment causes. Develops retailer point-of-purchase materials with Advertising and Creative Services and is involved in the process from conception to shipping.
  • Acts as primary, day-to-day contact for nonprofit and for-profit partners, builds relationships with key stakeholders, and conducts regular stakeholder meetings. Ensures that contract deliverables are met, keeps partners accountable through collaboration, and optimizes mutual partnership benefits. Secures approval of materials from partners and coordinates review and approval of SOA materials from partner.
  • Coordinates and collaborates with Field Marketing on retailer communication, promotion, engagement and merchandising of the national retailer programs. Spearheads annual retailer enrollment process. Drafts retailer communications, such as announcements and FAQs, and field communications, such as emails and training materials. Acts as point person for field or retailer questions about the programs. Assists in the collection of assets from retailers, including impact statements, photos and videos, quotes and endorsement from retailers’ local partners, etc. and works with stakeholders to promote the assets, as applicable.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Supports the integration of Love Promise Community Commitment team’s participation in initiatives across the company. Prepares for, attends, and presents at various internal and external meetings and conferences. Collaborates with Corporate Responsibility on SOA employee volunteer activities, Auto Shows & Events team on external volunteer activities, and Brand Partnerships team on integration of our causes with other partners.
  • Maintains impact reporting documents for assigned Love Promise Community Commitment causes.
  • Translates national and retailer program success across various organization levels, including Executives, Marketing, Corporate Responsibility, Corporate Communications, Customer Advocacy, Legal, Risk Management, and Field teams.
  • Applies continuous improvement to existing programs and partners by finding more significant Return on Investment (ROI), leveraging partner benefits, exploring new mutual benefits, and finding greater efficiencies.
  • Uses research, data, and trends to inform decisions and evolve the programs and partnerships.

  • Preferred: Understanding of the automotive industry, field operations, retailer (dealership) operations, or experience related to these areas.

Experience/Education: Four to six years of relevant experience, Four Year college degree or equivalent required.

Work Environment : Hybrid Role – Remote work 2 days per week (After 90 Days Onboarding)

Travel Required: 20%, Includes: Overnight travel, Travel to partners, Region/Zone Offices, Retailers, Conferences, and Events. Occasional night and weekend work

Salary Range: The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $65,800 – $94,000. Individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
