Litigation Technology Services (LTS) Sr. Project Coordinator – San Francisco

We are looking for a Sr. Project Coordinator to be a part of our Litigation Technology Services Team working out of our San Francisco office. The Sr. Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing consultation to internal case teams and clients in all areas of discovery lifecycle – data acquisition, ESI and paper document processing, document review, document production and trial presentation. As well as collaborating with LTS leadership and IT department in the evaluation of litigation technology applications.
Responsibilities
- Prepare eDiscovery case budgets and contribute to RFP’s as requested.
- Provide daily consultation to internal case teams and clients in all areas of discovery lifecycle – data acquisition, ESI and paper document processing, document review, document production and trial presentation.
- Work with attorneys and clients to analyze case needs, determine appropriate case workflows and strategies, engage vendors in accordance with Willkie’s preferred provider lists and contracting requirements.
- Manage relationships with outsourced eDiscovery service providers from Willkie’s preferred vendor lists to assure that high-quality data deliverables and services are provided within negotiated schedules and budgets.
- Review and approve vendor invoices and manage invoice intake and tracking process.
- At the direction of LTS leadership, help develop best practices, policies, and procedures to ensure the efficient and consistent delivery of services to the Firm’s attorneys.
- Support data management tasks as required – tasks including but not limited to loading of data into the Firm’s document review and production platforms and preparation of productions.
- Support/management of department hardware as required – preparation of external media or laptops used for review of offline data or use at depositions and court proceedings.
- Travel to other offices or to trial sites for support as required.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum five years of litigation support experience with at least three years of that experience within a large law firm setting.
- Vendor experience preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated expertise with litigation technology applications and understanding of the discovery process.
- Experience with Relativity and other vendor-hosted document review solutions. Relativity RCA preferred but not required.
- Experience managing outsourced service providers processing and hosting ESI for litigation document review and production.
- Must be methodical and organized. Must be able to multi-task and operate well under time constraints in a high-pressure, deadline-oriented environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work well as a member of a team and to develop relationships with internal case teams as well as outside service providers.
- Willingness and ability to work with LTS leadership to develop excellent departmental management skills.

Employment Status

- Hybrid, 9:30 am – 5:30 pm PST (M-F), overtime and weekends as needed
The salary for this role is $100,000-120,000 and represents the Firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications and location.
Willkie requires personnel in California offices to be vaccinated against COVID-19, and if eligible, have received one booster shot, in order to access all California offices, attend Firm events in California or meet in person with other Firm personnel and/or clients in California. This position will require regular presence in Willkie’s San Francisco offices on a weekly basis.
