National and Alamo have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Lube Technician!
The Lube Technician performs car and bus service, repair, preventive maintenance, in-fleeting service, and buy back/turn back service according to company policy and procedures. This is a position of routine difficulty requiring the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative. Performs all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards. – no customer interaction involved! This position is located at our Service Center at 2780 Richmond Highway, Arlington VA 22202.

**This position is full time and apart from religious observances requires you to be available 40 hours/week Thursday-Monday OR Friday-Tuesday 2pm-10pm, and Saturday 8am-4pm.
**Compensation for this position starts at $20.75/hour ** We will pay an additional $3.00 per hour for a current Virginia State Inspection license and an additional $1.25 per hour for each ASE Certification. (additional compensation/hour for future ASE certifications)
Responsibilities
- Ensure all repairs and preventative maintenance are completed according to the manufacturer’s specifications and guidelines.
- Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Perform in-fleet servicing on new cars according to company procedures as required.
- Perform buy back/turn back servicing according to company procedures as required.
- Perform vehicle servicing/repairing to maintain company standards; maintain Out-Of-Service at or below 2%.
- Maintain safe and clean work area.
- Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have one of the following:
- Two years of automotive repair training at an accredited technical / trade school OR
- A minimum of one year of repair experience in an automotive repair shop servicing current model vehicles
- Ownership of standard hand tools to perform repairs and maintenance on current vehicles (produced in the last 5 years) preferred
- Must have experience using repair shop testing and service equipment
- A minimum of basic level experience and understanding of a PC and Microsoft Office Products required
- Must be able understand, read, write, and speak English
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
- Must have a valid US driver’s license for a minimum of 1 year
- Must have satisfactory background check inclusive of driving (no more than 2 moving violations and/or at fault accidents in the past 3 years, and no DUI or DWI on driving record in the last 3 years) employment reference, education and social security.
