About You:
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation and upkeep of our cutting-edge bottling facility. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in minimizing downtime, optimizing equipment performance, and maintaining a safe working environment for our team.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Maintenance: Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for all production machinery. You will conduct regular inspections to identify and address equipment issues proactively, coordinating and overseeing repairs, including troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical systems.
- Team Leadership: Your leadership skills will shine as you lead, train, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians. Ensuring their adherence to safety protocols and best practices will be crucial. You will also have the opportunity to foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and accountability within the maintenance department.
- Inventory Management: You will manage the spare parts inventory to guarantee the availability of critical components and minimize production disruptions. Keeping accurate records of spare parts usage and reorder levels will be an essential part of your role.
- Safety and Compliance: Your commitment to safety will be evident as you ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Conducting safety audits and promoting a culture of safety within the maintenance team will also be your responsibility.
- Budget Management: You will develop and manage the maintenance department budget, optimizing resource allocation and cost control. Identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety will be one of your key objectives.
- Reporting and Documentation: Generating regular reports on equipment performance, maintenance activities, and downtime analysis will fall within your purview. Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history will be a crucial part of your role.
Your Qualifications:
- Ideally, you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Your proven experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the beverage or bottling industry, will set you apart.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including PLCs and automation, will be part of your expertise.
- Your excellent leadership and team management skills will be evident in your past experiences.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities will be crucial in your daily tasks.
- Familiarity with OSHA and safety regulations is expected.
