This role in summary
Whirlpool is currently seeking a qualified candidate for a Maintenance Planner/Support Leader opening in our Maintenance organization at Tulsa, OK. This role is an onsite position.
The Tulsa factory is the home of Whirlpool’s US freestanding and slide-in range production.
Assisting in the implementation of the World Class Manufacturing PM Pillar will be a crucial part of this role.
First shift Monday to Thursday position. $34.25 per hour
1st Shift 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Your responsibilities will include
• Understanding of 24 to 480 voltages
• Knowledge of mechanical parts. (chains, sprockets, shafts, bearings, etc.)
• Knowledge of electrical parts. (fuses, drives, conduit, wire sizes, etc.
• Lift 35 pounds
• Stand, sit, stoop, squat or kneel for extended periods of time
• Support day to day maintenance operations as needed
• Learn, Teach, Support and help Implement all WCM activities
• Work with engineering and craftsmen to determine and prioritize repairs
• Scope the full extent of work needed to conduct the maintenance repair
• Purchase all necessary parts, equipment and services to perform the maintenance work
• Write all applicable standard maintenance work procedures
• Discuss plans/scheduling with craftsmen
• Plan with production to have access to equipment
• Follow up to verify that the work was performed correctly
• Obtain bids from contractors and negotiate for the best price
• Manage work orders using SAP
• Update equipment and preventive maintenance in SAP
• Assist in Preventive Maintenance schedule writing
• Successfully complete all Safety training
Minimum requirements
• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of electrical or maintenance experience on manufacturing equipment
Preferred skills and experiences
• SAP/Plant maintenance software to search for parts
• Google, Microsoft Office products and SAP
• Assist in off shift down time as needed
• Mentor to the craftsmen
