We are looking for:

The Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for making sure all maintenance activities are accomplished safely, accurately, efficiently and economically. This position is responsible for the planning, scheduling and oversite of all emergency and non-emergency maintenance work including day-to-day activities, short-term outages, and major shutdowns. The Planning and Scheduling Coordinator provides direction and support for maintenance personnel and contractors and facilitates coordination with stores and other personnel assigned to assist maintenance activities to ensure department needs are met with a high degree of timeliness and quality.

The Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Coordinator plans, schedules and provides direction for all maintenance activities. He/She will be responsible for understanding and performing all activities needed to ensure the safe and successful execution of all maintenance activities.

The Maintenance Planning and scheduling Coordinator will:

  • Ensure safe execution of all maintenance activities to meet Solvay’s high standard of safety.
  • Provide strong leadership skills to foster a positive team driven culture.
  • Provide direction and support to all maintenance and contract personnel performing work onsite.
  • Understand and post KPI’s that reflect the status of the department and provide support to ensure the rest of the team understands the KPI’s and how they affect the departments performance.

You will bring:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, however equivalent relevant experience in the field will be evaluated and considered.
  • Experience: This position requires 10 years industrial experience with minimum of 8 years combined maintenance PM/repair, work order planning and scheduling, mechanical integrity compliance and a basic understanding of storeroom operation.
  • Working knowledge of chemical plant equipment (pumps, piping, heat exchangers, vessels, valves, electrical, instrumentation, etc
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills along with good verbal communication skills for facilitating cooperation with all other departments
  • Good computer skills, written skills and must be proficient with CMMS (SAP)

You will get:

  • The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $73,000 to $91,000. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.

Additional information:

The Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Coordinator position requires on site presence to properly execute the functions of the job, therefore, this position is not a work from home position.
