Position Description
Maintenance Technician III – Edinborough Park position is responsible for assisting with the cleanliness and light maintenance of Edinborough Park. The job is also responsible for assisting in the setting up, cleaning and tearing down of all special events, the cleaning and sanitizing of Adventure Peak, the Summit, the pool area, locker rooms and commons area. This position may also have the added responsibility of opening or closing the facility on their own.
Essential Functions
Ensures entire facility is clean and safe for daily functions.
o Inspects all assigned areas and identify any issues or safety concerns;
o Keeps walkways and other areas free of snow, ice and debris;
o Cleaning areas of Adventure Peak involves agility of climbing, crawling and kneeling.
• Cleans and maintains buildings and grounds according to established guidelines.
- Clean building floors, windows, empty trash cans;
- Clean, inspect and sanitize fitness equipment and track area;
o Sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, and restocking restrooms;
• Ensure building rentals, special events and performances are set up and functioning as scheduled.
o Set up of tables, chairs, sound systems and equipment for events;
o Assist rental clients and performers with their set-up needs;
o Monitor rentals and events for compliance with park rules and regulations.
• Performs minor repairs and preventative maintenance on buildings and grounds as directed.
• Operates equipment for maintenance of facilities and grounds.
- Mowers and snow removal equipment;
- Floor scrubbers, vacuums and other maintenance equipment.
• Performs other duties and activities as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
The job requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants must be detail oriented and have experience in building cleaning and general maintenance.
Desired Qualifications:
Customer Service experience and experience working in a park or facility open to the public.
