What does a successful Software Production Support Analyst do at Fiserv?
The Software Support Analyst is responsible for mission critical support of all department owned applications and their infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring proper monitoring, scale, and resiliency across all environments from test to production. Responsibilities include closely with the development team to break fix code, design and implement application build and deployment solutions. You will also partner with the software infrastructure and production assurance teams to introduce platform provisioning and standardized configuration management.
What you will do:
The Software Support Analyst needs an understanding of JAVA (ability to read code, not develop), Unix, source control, application management, deployment utilities and Systems Administration. In addition, you may assist with documenting technical manuals, playbook and coordinating inter-departmental activities.
• Manage and or Participate in the deployment and release of development, test and production software builds
• Manage the operations and monitoring of applications and infrastructure from dev to production
• Develop code and escalate break fix issues that may occur
• Task automation of infrastructure and application provisioning
• Ensures all environments meet scale and resiliency requirements
• Support customer facing and internal applications
• Monitor submitted tickets; assign, escalate and communicate, as required
• Participate in services and software systems design
• Participate in rotating on-call support duties
What you will need to have:
• 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise level applications and their infrastructure
• At least 3 years’ experience with production support and the following tools:
- Java (ability to troubleshoot code)
- SQL (must be able to script, troubleshoot and execute SQL queries)
- Unix (Linux or other flavors)
- Familiarity with HTML and Javascript
• Strong understanding of web and their related infrastructure technologies (load balancers, DNS, IIS or Apache/WebSphere, authentication and authorization, database connections, etc.)
• Experience implementing or managing Application Monitoring, Splunk is a plus
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related) or equivalent work experience required
Location
• Hybrid position onsite in Denver, CO, (Greenwood Village) Candidates willing to relocate will be considered. Omaha, NE location is also an option.

Salary Range
$92,200.00 – $160,000.00
These pay ranges apply to employees in Colorado and Washington. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ. Certain Positions are Commissions eligible.
