Manager, Financial Services Business Intelligence and Planning
We are seeking an innovative, highly motivated, and experienced Manager to drive Financial Services product offerings, residual value management and financial planning function. This is a critical role that requires analytical skills, business acumen and a comprehensive knowledge of Automotive Finance. You will collaborate cross-functionally and interact with external business partners to execute Financial Services business objectives.

Responsibilities:
- Develop framework, process, and analytics to set loan and lease pricing on ongoing basis. This includes Auto Industry benchmarking and various factors to guide the organization’s financial products strategy.
- Develop and manage process to establish our residual values to achieve optimum output. This requires working with guidebooks and bank partners across North America.
- Analyze Auto Industry trends influencing future products pricing and residual values. This includes consumer behavior across segments, OEM sales and competitive vehicles finance products pricing and penetrations.
- Ownership of budget development and planning to achieve profitability while optimizing incentive spend and risk exposure. Develop P&L and reporting for the Financial Services function and distribute it on at least a monthly basis. This also includes monthly reconciliation process, provisions and audits to ensure accuracy and meeting our contractual obligations to external partners.
- Provide updates to pricing committee, finance, sales, marketing and executive leadership team through presentations and performance dashboards.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years’ experience in auto finance or related industry with knowledge of loan, lease, and alternative finance structures.
- Experience in at least 5 or more of the following areas and working knowledge of the others:
- Automotive, auto finance and financial products, residual value forecasting, pricing strategy, regulatory.
- BA/BS degree required.
- Extremely analytical with technical expertise in (auto) finance, economics, statistics.
- Entrepreneurial, out-of-the-box thinker who is intellectually curious with a strong work ethic.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate complicated concepts and recommended courses of action to engage diverse audiences as well as inform and educate senior executive team.
- Ability to think strategically, drive for results, build a high-performance organization, continuously drive innovation, and inspire the organization to achieve and exceed its objectives.
- Must be able to multi-task, be flexible, and perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong experience and track record creating something from scratch.
$131,000 – $187,000 a year
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
• California (Bay Area) – $131k-187k
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
